So, this would be a great introduction to the genre. Hell, I wasn't really into first person shooters before I bought this, now I'm diving deep into these kinds of games. It's a solid game, and I highly recommend this game to any first person shooter fan. The game now features 144 new achievements, a domination and revenge system, MVP Awards, and a new scoreboard. Instead of running around like a with-drawing crackhead, spraying bullets everywhere, this game requires you to use tactics AND ACTUALLY AIM! You die pretty quickly on here, considering that it isn't extremely hard to get a headshot once you've gotten control of your gun's recoil and aiming.
Though the pace is much slower than a lot of the other Valve multiplayer games, the pace works great for the game. There are a variety of maps, guns, and things to do in this game, it never gets boring. I purchased this not too long ago, maybe 2-3 months, and I've been playing not stop since then.
